Caroline,
Tonight was our Very First Girls Night Out!
Happy Bunzel Girls!
Daddy Eric went to Clint's Bachlor weekend in Hot Springs. So I decided you and I should have a night out on the Van Buren Town!
Yes, we have been to the movies several times and we go out on Family Dates all of the time but tonight was the first time that just you and I went out for Dinner and a Movie! We had a fantastic time too!
This morning you requested tacos, however when I picked you up from school you were asking for cheese bites. So we headed to Zaxby's for cheese bites and chicken. Tasty!
Love this Little Date of mine!
Sitting in the little booth!
Cheesey Bites!
Then we were off to the movies! We got our tickets, candy, and our seats!
We went to see Dr. Suess's "The Lorax". Which is based closely on the book with a few added pieces. It is about A young boy who lives in a town made of plastic. He wants to get a real Tree for his the girl of his dreams. Thus begins his journey to find the Once-ler. He asks the Once-ler why the world is in such a run-down state. The Once-ler explains to the boy that he arrived in a beautiful, cheerful world containing happy, playful fauna that spent their days romping around blissfully among "Truffula trees." The Once-ler begins to cut down the truffula trees, thinking they will help him craft "Thneeds," his invention that he thinks everyone will need.
The Lorax, a small orange creature, appears from the stump of a truffula tree. He "speaks for the trees" and warns the Once-ler of the consequences of cutting down the truffula trees, but the Once-ler ignores him. Soon the once beautiful land becomes polluted and the fauna flee to find more hospitable habitats.
The movie was great and the music was even better! You were glued to the entire movie and asked a ton of questions very loudly!
Totally into the Movie!
I am sure the people sitting around us enjoyed all of your questions and remarks durring the movie!
We had a perfect Friday Night Girls Night Out!
I Love you!
Momma Katie!
