Caroline!
Today was Daddy's birthday and Elmo Makes Music Sesame Street Live! Daddy picked you up from School and got you ready to go so we coul head out the door right when I got home. We took Daddy out for his birthday before the show.
Happy Birthday Daddy Eric!
He decided on Outback Steakhouse so that is where we headed! We had a great time... no crowd, you were very well behaved, and the food was good! Most importantly Daddy had a wonderful Birthday Dinner!
Then we headed for "Elmo Makes Music LIVE!" The show was fantastic! The music was amazing and our seats perfect! Cookie Monster's Cookie Carumba Rumba was our favorite song and dance number.
Coming in at a close second was Oscar's Trash song!
After the show we headed out to the lobby to get you a Concert tee-shirt and a prize! You picked out the Elmo Doll. I expect you would have picked a cookie monster or an Oscar doll if they had been available. However they were not, so Elmo was the next best thing!
We had a Wonderful evening celebrating Daddy Eric's Birthday! I am sure you were the best part of his Birthday celebration!
I Love you!

33 Months!
March 23, 2012
Caroline,
Today you are 33 Months Old! You currently weigh 27 lbs 8oz. and you are almost 36 inches tall!
I must admit it has become extremely difficult to take note of all of the new things you are doing! You are doing and learning so much so fast that is very hard to catch new things!
Here are just a few new things you have started doing or saying just this month!
You started saying, “That’s Ridiculous!”
And you have started talking about you hair and how long it is!
You tried Special K chips this month and you are a big fan!
The biggest Milestone this month was the turning around of the car seat! I was hoping to make it to 3 years old but that just did not happen! You love that we can see each other in the rear view mirror and that I can pat you legs and feet! Things have been better since we decided to front face! I guess it was the right time!
Had to go for a Quick ride around the neighborhood!
Front Facing is for the Cool Girls!
You had your very first Ballet Class this month! Every class you seem to be improving. I expect that will just keep improving, Sort of natural progress I suppose.
You have actually been with Mimi and Papa this entire week! It was Spring Break! You all went to see Grandmother and Grandaddy , who you for what ever the reason are calling the “Blue One” I know you had a wonderful week but I think you were glad to come home! I know I was sure glad you were home!
Happy 33 Months!!!
I love you!

Tiny Dancer
March 15, 2012
Caroline,
Today you had a Special Ballet photo session with Wendy White Photography for Lifesong Dance Studio! Last week Wendy called me to let me know that Jessica Cultra the owner of lifesong wanted to have you photographed for her studio! Miss Jessica has been observing your dance classes and she was very impressed with your behavior, attentiveness and your dance abilities for being so young and so new to ballet. She also liked the way you looked and the way you were dressed.
You were a perfect little Dancer for Wendy. You showed her all of the Ballet moves and positions that you have learned so far. She was able to get quite a few photographs for Miss Jessica to choose from. It took Miss Jessica a while to respond as to whether or not they were what she had in mind. She said she wanted them to be realistic; she wanted you dressed like you were coming to class. She wanted the photographs to be simple and about the “Baby Ballerina”. I was nervous that she was not going to be pleased with them.
However I was wrong, she loves them and she will have them hanging in the studio once is has been fully remodeled.
Caroline, always remember that is does pay to be a sweet and well behaved Girl! You never know who might be watching you!
I am so proud of you and I love you!

First Girls Night Out!
March 9, 2012
Caroline,
Tonight was our Very First Girls Night Out!
Happy Bunzel Girls!
Daddy Eric went to Clint's Bachlor weekend in Hot Springs. So I decided you and I should have a night out on the Van Buren Town!
Yes, we have been to the movies several times and we go out on Family Dates all of the time but tonight was the first time that just you and I went out for Dinner and a Movie! We had a fantastic time too!
This morning you requested tacos, however when I picked you up from school you were asking for cheese bites. So we headed to Zaxby's for cheese bites and chicken. Tasty!
Love this Little Date of mine!
Sitting in the little booth!
Cheesey Bites!
Then we were off to the movies! We got our tickets, candy, and our seats!
We went to see Dr. Suess's "The Lorax". Which is based closely on the book with a few added pieces. It is about A young boy who lives in a town made of plastic. He wants to get a real Tree for his the girl of his dreams. Thus begins his journey to find the Once-ler. He asks the Once-ler why the world is in such a run-down state. The Once-ler explains to the boy that he arrived in a beautiful, cheerful world containing happy, playful fauna that spent their days romping around blissfully among "Truffula trees." The Once-ler begins to cut down the truffula trees, thinking they will help him craft "Thneeds," his invention that he thinks everyone will need.
The Lorax, a small orange creature, appears from the stump of a truffula tree. He "speaks for the trees" and warns the Once-ler of the consequences of cutting down the truffula trees, but the Once-ler ignores him. Soon the once beautiful land becomes polluted and the fauna flee to find more hospitable habitats.
The movie was great and the music was even better! You were glued to the entire movie and asked a ton of questions very loudly!
Totally into the Movie!
I am sure the people sitting around us enjoyed all of your questions and remarks durring the movie!
We had a perfect Friday Night Girls Night Out!
I Love you!

Parent Teacher Conference!
March 8, 2012
Caroline!
Today was your second parent teacher conference at Hobson Preschool and Kindergarten. Here is a little background on your Class! Mrs. Kester and Mrs. Peters are your teachers. Mrs. Candy is your Spanish teacher and she comes in a portion of each day to work with your class on Spanish. There are 6 children in your class and you all are split into groups of three. You are in Mrs. Peters group and you adore her. Mrs. Peters had only positive things to say about you at the conference. First we went though your Art Portfolio which had pieces from October 2011 to March 2012. We got to take your art pieces home. Mrs. Peters said that you always look forward art time and take great pride in your art pieces.
Here are just a few pieces from the portfolio and they are wonderful!
Tye Dye!
The Very First Art piece of the year!
Thanksgiving Art Piece!
A decorated Christmas Tree!
My Favorite! A Tissue Paper, feather, and lace Snowman!
Painted Valentine's Heart!
Balloon painting!
Learning about mixing colors! Blue and Yellow makes Green!
This is really beautiful in person!
Then we went over your “Test” This test basically was an over view on what you know and have learned so far this year. The first portion covered Colors, Shapes, Numbers, Letters, and ability to identify pictures of different items such animals etc. The second portion was over higher level thinking skills and problem solving. The last portion was over coordination and motor skills. You tested out at the highest level in each portion there was not a specific section on the test for Language skills but Mrs. Peters did discuss that with me and said that your vocabulary and language skills are advanced for your age. She also said that you spend the majority of your “free play” time in the Library Center. Which doesn’t surprise me one bit, you love books, you love to look at them and read them on you own and you love being read too. Mrs. Peters also said Music Class is one of your favorite activites. She said you are always fully engaged and participating in music class songs and activities. There was quite I bit more information I got at your conference but these are just a few of the highlights! I cannot say enough good things about Hobson Preschool and Kindergarten. I feel like you are in simulated learning environment and you are surrounded by people who love you. The best part is that YOU love going to Hobson!!
I love you and I am very proud of you!

Beautiful Ballerina
Today was your very first Ballet Class!
I have been looking forward to this day and it came! Not to mention it was a very busy day! I had a hair appt, then we had dance class, and then VeggieTales Live!
Mimi came over early to stay with you while I got my hair done. Then you all met me and we had lunch and then we all headed over to Lifesong Dance Studio. They just started a two year old class, So we jumped on board for it! Daddy Eric surprised us too! He wasn't going to miss your very first Dance class and this is just another reason he is such an amazing father!
We went into the Dance studio and at first for just a little while you were overwhelmed and not too sure about it!
But once Miss Hillary came over and started working with you, the "little Dancer" in you came out!
Getting First Position Correct right from the start!
Second Position!
Beautiful Turns
The First Plie'
A Chasse'
It was such a special moment for me to watch you begin to learn ballet. I was very pleased with what lifesong was actually doing with all of you. They are actually trying to teach you Ballet in. You all worked on First and Second positions and also Chasse' and just being up on your toes. You are a Beautiful "Baby Ballerina!" I am already looking forward to our next class.
Learning to Stretch with structure!
I got to participate with Caroline in a Little Fun Circle Time too!
After Ballet Class Mimi, You, and I hurried over to the Fort Smith Convention Center to watch VeggieTales live!!! You enjoyed most of the show and it was pretty cute! Towards the end you were so tired after all of the excitement you started asking Mimi if it was over and told her you were ready for your surprise. hahaa. Mimi of course got you a Bob the Tomato doll after the show and we headed home!
It was a very exciting and special day!
I am so proud of you and I love you so much!
