This next morning we were up bright and early! We got ready and headed down for a surprisingly Delish Hotel breakfast! The we were off to Silver Dollar City!! We arrive at 8:30 and her were in the park before 9am! It was the perfect day to be at SDC! We started off at the Brown's Candy Store were they make candy!
We watched the candy ladies make black walnut brittle and then you decided you needed to go Salt Water Taffy shopping!
Of course you have never had Salt Water Taffy in our life and we don't do a lot of candy anyway. I can see how tempting it would be it is just fun to look at. You wanted the big prepackage bag of taffy. Daddy and I suggested you select your taffy from the taffy section of the store so you could get the flavors you wanted. You liked this idea, grabbed a basket and started tossing taffies in left and right! We left the store with a load of taffy! You immediately started eating them too and thought they were Yummy!
Then we just wondered on and out of the little shops. The Christmas store was a favorite! You loved the giant Santa's and all of the Christmas displays!
I found your 2012 christmas ornament too! After window shopping we went in search "Caroline Sized"rides. The first ride we came too Tom and Huck's River Blast. This was a ride we could all do together.
You loved getting to shoot the water canons at the targets, of course I was the only person to get shot back at on this ride.
Then we headed to ride the Frisco Song-Along Steam train and got to see all of Silver Dollar City, including the construction on the New wooden coaster that will be open next spring! You loved the train ride!
After the train ride we came back to the Treetop Fun houses and climbing nets. You went in this by yourself and loved it so much you went back through a second time!
We found the Lil Swings and this was the first ride we came to that you were tall enough to ride and you were the only kid in line to ride.
The ride attend put you in the little swing seat and told you to just start yelling if you wanted off. Well one rotation into it You started yelling, "let me off! Let me off!"
So the ride was stopped and off you got! Not A Fun ride! Ha! Then we went to ride Hugo and Mary's Carousel! This made you very happy, first you rode a bear,
then a horse, then you and daddy rode in the carriage, and then one last ride on another horse!
This was definitely a highlight of the day! Next was Grandfather's Mansion. We all went through it together and then Daddy went with you a second time! It is so disorienting I had to sit out for the second time.
Some nice lady told us about the petting area. I had no idea SDC had one! So we headed over to pet the goats, and the pony.
We finally made it to the area that had the little rides and you and I rode the Happy Frog ride together. You sat in the front and I sat in the back. You hated this ride! It was extremely hoppy and lots of up and down!
After the frog we went to the Ladybugs. The Ladybugs were a huge hit!! This ride was just your speed and you enjoyed riding them!
That was our last attraction at SDC! We headed back to the tram to take us to our parking lot you were passed out before we even got on the Tram! 7 hours of Silver Dollar City will so a girl in!
After a little resting at the hotel we got cleaned up and to dinner. Daddy Eric found us a neat place to eat in Hollister. It was called Mr. Gilberti's. Place.
Mama Gilberti who originally opened Uno's in Chicago came down to Branson and opened Mr. Golberti's and they still use the original recipes. It was Delish Chicago style pizza!
After dinner we went to Andy's froze custard for ice cream! you ate an entire Ice cream cone by yourself! It was good stuff! Then it was time to call it a night! A very Fun and Full day!!

Weekend in Branson!
October 21, 2012
Caroline,
This weekend we did a little Family Trip to Branson! All Loaded UP!This was your first visit! You have been to lots of places but for some reason we just hadn't gotten you to Branson yet!We left around noon on Friday and stopped for lunch in Fayetteville and a super quick trip to the NWA mall to make a return. Then we were back on the road. The drive is not to bad. However I guess we never arrived in Branson during Friday afternoon traffic ! It was awful! Thankfully Daddy Eric knows his way around and we didn't have to sit in it!
After we checked into the hotel we headed to the Branson Landing. Branson Landing! You desperately wanted to go to "Fix-A-Bear" aka Build-A-Bear and create A New Beary Special Friend! This was your second time to go to Build -A-Bear and you definitely understood the process much better! We all had fun! I don't care how old you are or how many times you visit this place... It is always SO much Fun!! We made it to Build-A-Bear!
After Build-A-Build we just enjoyed being at the Landing. You were enthralled by the water fountains and all of the lights that changed Colors! So we stopped for a while to watch the fountain! Then we decided to go to the Black Oak Grill for Dinner. This was a very good decision....good Atmosphere, great Food, and Family Time! This place had a farmhouse feel too. An American Traditional Feel I guess you could say! After Dinner it we headed back to the hotel and you were fast asleep before we even left the parking lot at the Landing.
I love you!

First Field Trip!
October 18, 2012
Caroline!
Today was a big day! Today was your very first Field Trip! I am very happy to say that Daddy and I were able to join you on your First Field Trip along with Mimi and Papa. I have to tell you that I have been beyond pleased with First Place Academy Preschool. They just go above and beyond in all areas especially for the enrichment portion of the units that you are working on and learning. Your class made special Halloween Shirts to wear on your field trip and they were truly adorable!
Cute Halloween Class Shirt!
FPA took the 3 year old classes to The Wild Things Farm and it was a Wonderful Day!
First we dropped you off at school just like any other morning. You had Short Circle Time to start the day off. Daddy and I along with Mimi and Papa waited outside until your class headed to your classroom as not to disrupt you. Once we arrived at your classroom you were so happy to see all of us! I loved getting to see you in your classroom with all of your little classmates and thankfully you were behavingJ We were given our instructions as to how the day would proceed and then we all loaded up and caravanned out the The Wild Things Farm!
Once we arrived at the Farm we grouped up with your class and headed out on our Hayride. It was great because each class was on their own hayride, they spaced them out so that every stop we made we were the only class there! We stopped off to see and pet a little miniature horse named Butterscotch and see all of the other little horses in the pasture />
l The little Ponies was beautiful!
Then our hayride took us to the BIG mulch Slide! The night before you were telling me all about this slide and how excited you were to go see it!
Well this slide was a tad frightening. It was a Slide that is on a Giant Mulch hill. Eric took you up the Hill and then sent you down on a potato sack. You did NOT like this slide at all. Once you reach the bottom the tears began to flow.
Scary Slide Ride!
However, you wanted me to go down the slide with you for your second turn and that was fun!
We conquered the slide together!
I completely see why you did not like it! Slide was wide, very high, and we were all over it!

After the slide rides we all got back on the hayride and we continued on around the Farm to the the Slingshot corn game, Giant Hay Scarecrow and the Corn maze! You all got a turn to shot a corncob into a bucket. Your turn didn’t go so well and the sling shot whack you in the head leaving a big scratch/cut place!
Slingshot attack!
Poor thing I was feeling so bad for you…bad slide experience and a sling shot accident. After recovering from that we headed over to checkout the Hay Scarecrow! You all loved climbing around on the scarecrow and we were able to get a few photos of your class.
Mrs. Theresa Class!!!
Then we headed into the Corn Maze and we walked all through it! This was fun and you had a good time!

After the Scarecrow and Corn Maze we loaded back up for last part of our Hayride over to the Pumpkin Patch! You and your classmates all gathered up and got to watch a couple of pumpkins be thrown by this giant contraption thing. This was interesting to say the least. Then you all got to go out to the pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin to take home!
You all were so cute out there looking for just the right one! Then we loaded the pumpkins up into the pumpkin wagon. After the Pumpkin selection we headed over to the Pig Racing Game! A Jolly Farmer Man told you all how to play the game and race the pigs by turning their tales!
Racing Pigs is Fun!
It was pretty funny to watch! Then the Jolly Farmer Man took you all over to the goats. There was a really neat goat bridge way up in the sky and a Goat right on top! We watch the goat take a snack from the conveyor belt snack thing way up in the sky and you all got to feed the goats popcorn.
Then we headed over to milk the cow! You all got a turn at milking the wooden cow! This was loads of fun and you all were very excited to milk the cow!

After the Cow milking we went and washed up at the outdoor sinks and headed to the pavilion for snack! Pumpkin cookies and bottled water were the perfect snack for a Perfectly Fun day out at The Wild Things Farm!
It was a Beautiful day for a Fun Fall Field Trip! Your Very First Field Trip!
