Slumber Party!

February 26,2012

It's A Family Slumber Party, Caroline!

Peevy, Clint, and Gracyn came down to spend to weekend with us!

Waiting on My Best Friend!!!

It has been way to long since our last get together! Also we had to finalize some plans for our Beach vacation too!

I have to say there really is nothing better than just vegging out at the house with good friends and Food! It is relaxing and we always have a good time! We forgot a few things for our dinner so the Clint and Daddy Eric went out to get them and they also came back with a Daquiri mix too per our request. The Momma's decided we needed a little extra relaxation :) I must Say Peevy makes an amazing Stawberry Daquiri!
You and Gracyn were happy to see each other and play!

You discovered Gracyn's Monkey Lunch box game and wanted to play that all night long and first thing you said when you woke up Sunday moring , " I want to play the monkey game on Pevy's phone!" So I dowloaded the app for you on our Ipad. The two of you played monkey lunch box while we found a place to stay in Gulf Shores!

Really Peevy found it and it is perfect!
When Pigs Fly!!!
It is a beach house with a Pirvate pool! It is 200 feet from the ocean and centrally located for all of the other attractions we will be doing!
We are going to have the best time and we booked it!

32 Months Old!

February 23, 2012

Happy 32 months Caroline!

You are 32 months old today! Your currently weigh 27.7 lbs and still 35 ½ inches tall!

What a Sweetie You are!

At 32 Months:
It gets harder and harder for me to keep up with your new words and phrases! You have been speaking so clearly and in sentences for so long now. Random People are constantly commenting on your vocabulary and languages skills. People are always surprised that you have such an extensive vocab at such a young age. I am a proud Momma and it makes me think that we just might be doing a few things right:)

Here are a few new phrases/ words that I have noticed you using this month!

"China!" You have been learning about China and the Chinese new year at school for the past month. Just here lately you have teaching Daddy and I all about "China" It is amazing that you at 21/2 years old are teaching me things about China that I did not know!

You now say "Refrigerator" instead of "frig" I have to admit I always feel a little sad when these graduations happen. You are just growing up so fast!

"That's Enough!"
"Don't Follow me! I am old enough! I am big!"

You have a few New Words you have started saying-
Towel
Muscles
actually

New Foods you have discovered and love!
Fish Sticks! Yep you love them!

You have learned two new songs this month!
"Head,shoulders,knees, and toes"

You also learned to recite the "Three Little Kittens". I love hearing you say this with your little voice! It makes me smile every time!

Happy 32 Months Sweet Pea!
I love you,
Momma Katie

A Sweet Valentine!

February 14, 2012

Caroline!

Happy Valentine’s Day Sweet Girl!

We did our Valentine Celebrating this past weekend! I decided we would make homemade Dinner and Dessert for Daddy’s Valentine from us! This way you got to be a big part of putting everything together for Daddy’s Valentine and it just made our celebration that much more special!

We started off our Valentine Adventures with a quick trip to Great American Cookie Company! Daddy always gets a cookie Cake for Valentine’s day! Then we picked up lunch for Daddy and we headed over to Best Buy to eat with him! Well, I discovered that you do not keep secrets very well…The first thing you said to him was, “Daddy! We got you a BIG Cookie and a present today for Valentine’s Day!” It was funny and precious even though it was no longer a surprise.

After out little lunch date we home to start on the Valentine Dinner! First we started with our cupcakes! Really I should take “We” out of this because you did 90% of the cupcake making by yourself! I was very impressed with your baking skills! The only thing I did was the egg white separation and I helped you with frosting the cupcakes! You were very detail oriented and focused on your cupcakes! They turned out delicious and just as cute as could be!

After the cupcakes were in the oven we got the kitchen table all set up for our Valentine’s Dinner for Daddy!

It turned out looking pretty good ! Then it was time to start making dinner! We decided on Spaghetti and made homemade (from scratch) spaghetti sauce. You chopped the vegetables in the chopper and you browned the meat for the sauce! Two words , Caroline Crocker!

Daddy came home and he was just thrilled with his Valentine Surprise from us! Not long after he got home the Thomas-Peevy’s stopped by for a brief Valentine’s visit! You and Gracyn exchanged Valentine’s and played for a little bit while the rest of us enjoyed your yummy cupcakes and visited!

Then it was time sit down and enjoys our Valentine’s Dinner! It was pretty tasty! A Perfect Valentine’s Dinner! Salad, Spaghetti, and Garlic Cheesy Bread! After Dinner we all ate some of Daddy’s Cookie Cake and cupcakes! Then it was time for Daddy and you to opens your Valentine’s Gifts!

Daddy loved his all of his gifts. You got him some new flips flops and a new pair of Sunglasses and I got him a new shirt! We got you a Mermaid Lala and two new books! You were thrilled and couldn’t wait to get your Lala Doll in the Bath!

It was a wonderful Valentine’s evening! The best part was that I got to spend it with my favorite two Valentines you and Daddy!

Happy Valentine’s Day!
I Love SO Much!
